3. Arts In-Education Task Force
   Minutes: The Arts-In-Education Task Force is presenting as directed by the Board, this comprehensive Arts Education Framework. This report is the result of six months of community and School District collaboration to compile a comprehensive Arts Education Plan.
   
   Louise Grant, Pew Foundation, presented Board Members with information regarding Arts In Education Task Force and highlighted the following topics: Committee Members; Executive Summary; Arts in Education Academic Business Plan; Staffing; and Budget.
   
   Board Members discussed: amount of money spent each year on Career Academies (Lynch); prioritize budgeting (Lynch); reallocation of existing resources (Graham); advisory board (Graham); instrument repair (Robinson); importance of arts in the schools (Burdick); textbook budget (Burdick); career opportunities (Burdick); including Exceptional Student Education (Richmond); cost effective approaches (Burdick); per student cost (Burdick); and incremental multi-year approach (Graham).
